Instructor
Founder of Sussex Urban Krav Maga, Mark O'Neil is a registered instructor with the British Combat Association and an Instructor in Urban Krav Maga with over 25 years experience in Martial Arts.
Mark started his travels in Martial Arts with Lau Gar Kung Fu and during the eighties fought at National level in the WAKO championships, before moving onto Wing Chun where he studied under the inspirational teaching of Sifu Mark Phillips for some 10 years.
Moving out of the area, Mark looked to continue in Wing Chun, but unable to find a teacher of the quality of Sifu Phillips he looked at alternatives and discovered Krav Maga, initially with the IKMF and then the British Academy of Krav Maga, where he helped open a school in Kent.
A further move, this time into Sussex, led to finding a further style of Krav Maga, before ultimately joining Stewart McGill and his Urban Krav Maga system.
After training in all these martial arts Mark believes that with Urban Krav Maga, he has now found what he was looking for all these years- A fully developed fighting system using proven techniques.
Mark is proud to call himself an instructor in Urban Krav Maga, and he looks forward to helping you keep yourself and your family safe on the streets
